Downtown Clean Up!

Downtown Brush!
9:00 am - 11:30 am
Meet at 8:30 am at the Rising Sun Bakery for drinks and doughnuts provided by the Brush Chamber.
The annual Downtown clean up day is here once again and we would like to ask our Community and Businesses to help us "Brush! Up Downtown". We will be working in teams of Volunteers in the 100, 200 and 300 blocks of Downtown, including the alley ways. We will be picking up trash/debris, pulling and removing any weeds in the sidewalks/gutters/walkways. We will also have the Fire Department helping us out by washing down sidewalks on Clayton, Edison and Edmunds streets that morning.
How Can You Help?
- Volunteer and/or allow your employees to Volunteer that morning to help us improve the quality of downtown.
- Businesses - mow, pull or hoe weeds and grass ahead of time and we will remove the debris for you.
- Businesses - remove any objects from the sidewalks such as door mats, rugs, flower pots, etc., that way the Fire Department can more easily wash the sidewalks.
- Help supply tools - we could use rakes, hoes, shovels, brooms, etc.
- To Volunteer, please call the Chamber to sign up at 842-2666.
